The great majority of mapping activity lives in services and apps like google, yahoo, and apple maps. Because I’m intrigued by the interactivity and user-driven affordances that these technologies provide, I wanted the chance to try to add my graphic methods to the modern landscape of digital mapping services. The below was created with Leaflet’s API, Mapbox, and NOAA map data.
